I’m a new user. I use Beaver Builder as my page builder. This plugin looks like exactly what I’m looking for.
1) I’m having real issues though with your GD-Details and other pages, not updating on the front end to reflect my changes. For example I used BB to setup 2 columns and put some of the data on the left and some on the right using your existing shortcodes and the page just never reflects the cahnges. It stays 100% vertical in 1 column.
2) I noticed that if I allow Beaver Builder to do any editing of the Places Post Type, then use my directory and search for anything that brings up one of those listings I get a 500 server error.
I’m really wanting to use your service and even upgrade it, but I cannot get even the simplest changes to take affect.
Please help.
Attached is my plugin status report.
August 7, 2019 at 3:14 pm #501828Hi Shannan Lynes,
Thanks for your post. Please allow me to answer your questions accordingly.
1. We would need to inspect your Website backend, please share your Website WP admin access here in private reply.
2. An error 500 is usually a server related issue. Could you contact your hosting provider and ask for the error logs?
Thanks!

I’ve created Singular Themer Layouts, I’ve created templates and applied to the GD-Details Page, I’ve tried editing GD-Details directly with BB, I’ve tried taking GD-Details, turning that into a template and applying a Themer Layout to the Places. Nothing seems to work I just keep getting the default layout with all your stuff 100% wide on the screen. You can see from the two screenshots my layout (two columns) and the output (1 column). This has happened in every case.
August 9, 2019 at 1:18 pm #502305PS… I edited the location page just fine using BB directly to that page. That worked like expected! Screen attached.
Sadly this does not translate to any details pages. Again, I’ve tried all the recommended ways. I have BB Pro etc. Please feel free to rework anything that I have on the site, themer layouts, templates etc… to attempt to show it working in 2 columns vs 1. I want to break up that information much like you show in your video of editing with blocks in WP.
August 9, 2019 at 5:32 pm #502354Please check.
You had a WP Page edited with BB set as the GD Details page template in the GD Settings. I created a new page with the default content and set that instead and now it works.
August 9, 2019 at 7:17 pm #502380Yeah, I see that. Thanks. Now my issue is that I want to use the WP Sidebar Template for my navigation with widgets etc. Since I’m not allowed to use the sidebar template but instead have to have it set to “default” I lose the capability of having my header be where I want it. Is there another way to insert the GD-details into the sidebar template layout rather than just the default WP template?
August 10, 2019 at 8:14 pm #502486Any GD element can be used as a shortcode, widget, or a Gutenberg block. Use the one that works for you, where you need it.
August 10, 2019 at 9:48 pm #502506Okay, I think I figured it out. The issue is that your plugin doesn’t allow you to apply the standard sidebar template. But from Beaver Builder you can add the module Sidebar and choose standard, and that seems to work. Got it working, enough at least for me to continue development. Thanks for your help.
August 11, 2019 at 10:08 pm #502605Glad you got it working.
About the solution, that is how Beaver Themer works, it overrides everything including the page contents and the page template.
