GD and WP roles

Hi, though i read this in one of the older threads, just want to reconfirm that nothing in GD is dependent on the WP roles- author, editor, subscriber, etc- and GD right to edit, delete,upgade listing are only to the owner of the listing (whatever WP role they may be having even subscriber)

And nothing in GD/ Pricing Manager (and even WPI) changes a users WP role e.g. any WP role can claim and pay for listing and their role is not affected.

Please let me know if my understanding is not correct. My reason for asking this was because I was seeing some WP roles had changed to Author (and i am not sure if I had changed them or some other process had caused them to change). ALso I am planning to use WP Author roles differently for the content / articles on the site so wanted to be sure GD will not be affected.
