Hello
I am now a member and have downloaded all the extensions. I just have a few questions1. I want to set up various listings : ie. Props, Offices, Studios etc via the post type section. If I have a different form for each category, where do I find the page for clients to add their listings.
2. Is it possible for the client to upload various listings in their account. Ie. They might have a studio and props. Would there be a menu with Each category.
Many thanks
KellyNovember 24, 2019 at 9:30 pm #5185031. Try the GeoDirectory navigation options in the WordPress menus
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/navigation/
2. You can use our plugin UsersWP to display all the listings the user owns.

Just a quick question – is it possible to have video/mp3 listings?
Many thanks

December 1, 2019 at 1:47 pm #519379Hi Alex
I have some more questions (sorry)
1. The search bar at the top of the Listings Page (GD Archive) is it possible to take out the location on the search bar and just search for categories?
2. When someone registers how do they select the package and be logged in to the relevant account which show the “Add a Listings” included in the subscription?
3. How do we display Add a Listings only when logged in?
4. If I wanted to design pages for each listing, do I copy the GD Archive page, make changes/add to the theme page etc and select that page ie GD Archive page 2 in the listing advanced settings?
I think that’s it for now, thanks so much for your help
Best Regards
KellyDecember 1, 2019 at 10:19 pm #5193981. We have some CSS examples to hide search fields here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#gd_search
2. With Pricing Manager active, add the package field to the CPT custom fields. This will show on the Add listing page to allow a user to select the package. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/pricing-manager/
3. Add listing page will only show to logged in users UNLESS you have set the option in GD – Settings – General – SHow advanced – Allow posting without logging in https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/
4. Yes, but, the main ‘Details’ page for each listing is using the GD Details template. The ‘mini’ listings use the GD Archive Item template. Lists of ‘mini’ listings are shown on the GD Archive template. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/

2. No, GD is single listing single payment.
4. You can simply edit the existing ones, no need to copy them.
December 31, 2019 at 12:09 pm #523508Hello
I have created a listing type and added extra text fields, links, etc to the listing form and they are not pulling through to the front end. I have ticked Active ect and tried many different ways. The standard information is ok and did work previously – do you have any ideas why its not working?
Many thanks
KellyJanuary 1, 2020 at 7:42 pm #523614Hi Kelly,
Thanks for your reply. We would need to inspect your GD setup and could you please share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check on it?
