Hello,
I went to Settings => General and added restrictions under “Restrict wp-admin”. Now, I thought it would only restrict users from the GEO Directory Nav tabs in the admin panel. However, the roles I added to restrict, apparently affected my administrator profile and the whole website, not just the Geo Directory Nav Tabs in the admin panel as I thought. Now no one can log into the admin panel when GEO Directory is installed. Effectively, becoming unusable so I had to delete the plugin to gain access again.
Where can I find this change in the DB to adjust it? I didn’t think it would be in the files because when I installed a new version of the plugin, the same thing happened and blocked all administrators from the website’s admin panel again.
Am I wrong? Did this happen in the files or DB. We are using wp_bp_xprofile_data.
How can I remove these user restrictions in the DB so that it can allow the plugin to work correctly again? It only blocks us when the plugin is activated and it only happened after we added more roles into the “Restrict wp-admin”.
I would like to take it back to the simple “Subscriber” and maybe a couple others. And why would it restrict top administrators, I assume those accounts should always have access no matter the case. It is easier to change the access level to restrict them. Need some help please.
Thank you, any help would be great. I am a paid member and have multiple addons with your plugin but I do not find anywhere I can request a support ticket or even hire anyone with this company.
