Hello from Amsterdam!
I just added pictures to a listing in my “Hotels” Custum Post type. After adding the pictures the sidebar is pushed below the main content.
Have a look at this page: http://www.amsterdamtourist.info/hotels/amsterdam/5-star-hotels/hotel-okura-amsterdam/#post_profileI don’t know how to fix this… Can you please help me?
Cheers, Jan
September 7, 2015 at 7:28 am #52212Hi Jan,
in your css file /wp-content/themes/u-design/styles/common-css/960.css?ver=1.0 on line 18 it is making the sidebar float left for .grid_8 if you use css like below in you child theme then that might solve the issue.
#sidebar.grid_8 { width: 20%; }

September 7, 2015 at 8:54 pm #52345Hi Tim,
That worked..
But now I have some issues with the tabs…. Strange, beccuse on other CPT I don’t have that issue.
See the difference:
Problem with tabs (hotels)
http://www.amsterdamtourist.info/hotels/amsterdam/5-star-hotels/hotel-okura-amsterdam/No problems with tabs (hostels)
http://www.amsterdamtourist.info/hostels/amsterdam/backpacker-hostels/stayokay-amsterdam-stadsdoelen/Any idea?
Cheers, Jan

I would start by disableing any plugins you have first to debug this.

September 8, 2015 at 4:31 pm #52437Dear Tim,
Thx for the response. But your first solution didn’t work. On other pages the sidebar was too small because of that css code…
Dou you have another idea?
Cheers, Jan
September 8, 2015 at 4:39 pm #52438Hi Tim,
Very strange… I found the a solution (for now_. This issue with the sidebar and tabs is happening when I set a the description limit for that price package…
Any idea – is this a bug?

September 8, 2015 at 5:24 pm #52449HI,
I can’t see the tabs problem on your website and I can’t recreate it on my demos. WHat was the problem?
Thanks
September 8, 2015 at 6:40 pm #52469Hi Paolo,
The problem was that the tabs did’nt work at all.
I will change this right now (set a descirption limit on the price package) so you will see what I mean.Cheers, Jan
September 8, 2015 at 6:53 pm #52471Ok, I can’t recreate this in our demo, limiting the description doesn’t break the tabs.
I’ve flagged this for the Stiofan to see if he can’t think of anything obvious.
We’ll let you know asap.
Thank you

Where is the part “TRAVEL PLANNER – Plan your trip to Amsterdam:” coming from? it has a extra closing div which is breaking things.

January 18, 2016 at 8:35 pm #69253Hi @stiofan,
This is a plugin “Post Ender” >> https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-ender/.
I changed the settings of this plugin so that the text “TRAVEL PLANNER – Plan your trip to Amsterdam:” is not displayed anymore. But still I have the same problem; only on pages with CPT Hotels the tabs are not working. On other CPT’s I dont have the same problem:
