Hi there,
A pending member is trying to set up her account. She selected the $45/annual plan (which is the auto-renewing membership plan that requires PayPal membership). However, she would like to change that to the $49/annual plan that is not auto-renewing that does not require PayPal membership.
How can she switch options from the selected $45/annual plan to the $49/annual plan?
Here’s the link to her page on the back end: https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=9059&action=edit&classic-editor=1&package_id=3
Thanks!
Josh.
December 18, 2019 at 8:54 pm #522276If she has already paid, then the best thing is to cancel her subscription at Paypal and refund her, then she can go sign up again under the correct package.
December 19, 2019 at 1:03 am #522307She has not paid yet. She is trying to switch to the other option before paying and can’t figure out how to do it. Any advice for how I can help her figure it out?

December 19, 2019 at 1:32 am #522309Go back to edit the listing and set it for the appropriate price package.
Is the listing set to draft? If so you might need to publish it for her.December 19, 2019 at 1:53 am #522310The listing is set to pending.
I tried going into edit mode and switching to the other price package. I saved it under the new price package (still in a pending status). However, it did not generate a new invoice for her to pay. The old invoice for the wrong package still exists. If I were to publish it for her, it would bypass collecting payment all together. Not sure what else to try.

December 19, 2019 at 7:29 pm #522428New invoices can only be created when the listing is in draft mode.
If you have a free package, publish it to free and then she can upgrade it.December 19, 2019 at 7:41 pm #522433Is there a way to move it from Pending mode to Draft mode?
I tried going in to Edit and changing the plan to the $49/annual plan and changing the date to three days from now (hoping it will generate a 2 day renewal notice for her). Do you think that will work?
Josh.
December 19, 2019 at 8:37 pm #522445You can change to to draft in the wp backend editor, in the top right near the publish button.
Try that and let us know.
December 19, 2019 at 8:47 pm #522451I do not see where to do this.
Attached are two screen shots of what my back end looks like.

December 19, 2019 at 9:02 pm #522460Where it says Status: Published, click on edit and set to draft.
December 19, 2019 at 9:08 pm #522461When I click Edit, nothing happens.

December 19, 2019 at 9:16 pm #522466That sounds bad. Would you like us to take a look?
For any post in WP you should be able to set it to draft, and publish, and back again.
Once you save it in draft invoicing options are revealed.
If all else fails you can always recreate the listing for her again, or she can do that, too.

If it doesn’t please try a conflict test and disable non-GD plugins to see if you can edit the status of the listing.
