Search "near" and map zoom not working

    Hello,
    A couple issues I’m experiencing:

    1. Is there a way to change the search dropdown when someone starts to type a location from “In” to “Near”? I’d like the search results to display locations near the location entered instead of just locations in the city.

    2. Map does not zoom to search: When a user does not click on one of the drop down search choices and instead types their city or state and hits enter or search, the map does not zoom to the location but instead zooms out to the full map.

    1. That is how it should work if they type an address [for example Main Street …], then the listings will show around the address, but if visitors type a city name, they usually want to know what is in that city, not just what is around/near the center of that city.
    Example: https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/

    2. That looks like you are not using the zoom or location filter for that map.
    Please post your WP admin details in a private reply if we need to check your settings.

    That is the map shortcode for location pages, not search or archive pages.
    On the search page, you should use 

    [gd_map zoom="0" map_type="archive" all_posts="1"]

    Please try now.
    I changed your shortcode using the shortcode builder.
    You had curly quotes in the code instead of straight quotes, so that broke the shortcode.
