Directories based on Categories or Custom Post Variables

    I used to have dynamic directories like this on my old site.

    They were based on either service offerings (things that are now in categories or custom post types).

    http://206.82.195.100/birthday-party-ice-skating-rinks/national/birthday-party-ice-skating-rinks

    This was all for SEO.

    Possible – or maybe I could create a directory writing my own code to query links to a profile based on certain data in their profile.

    I used to have about 160k indexed pages based on about 6,000 listings – using different data to build out separate pages to cast several nets. Just wondering what we can do here with WPGeo…

    Hi,

    at the moment you have direct URLs for Locations, Custom Post type, Category or Tag.

    For anything else you’d need search queries which won’t have pretty links, but will allow you to show all listings with a specifinc custom field.

    Doing it otherwise, it would require custom coding.

    Is there a specific hierarchy when combining them?

    ex:
    /cpt/location/categoory/tag

    or

    /cpt/tag/location

    etc.??

    WordPress doesn’t allow to combine them at all.
