Hi there,
Our addresses on our individual places aren’t coming up with Town/City or State, just street and ZIP code. We don’t need country but we do want Town/City and State to be listed. I’ve attached a screenshot and a link to one of our places. Let me know how we can fix this!

Thanks for your post. We would need to check your Website backend and could you please share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check on it?

Visit the Places tabs, click on shortcode, then select the shortcode builder button and choose the shortcode.
To show the address, choose GD Post Address.

Thank you for adding that code in, I see that it has appeared in the description boxes for locations.
How can I get full addresses to appear in the sidebar of a location (attached screenshot) and in the preview of all locations on a directory page? (also attached)
Is there a way to list the address with city, state and ZIP on the same line separated by commas in the description, on the sidebar and on the previews? For example:
13470 Dowell Road
Dowell, Maryland 20629Thank you for your help!
January 13, 2020 at 6:11 pm #525418Use the GD Post Address widget in the sidebar.
Use the blue button to show advanced option. Hover over the tooltip on the ‘template’ option to create your own format.

January 14, 2020 at 4:13 pm #525566Hi there,
Thank you, that fixed the sidebar issue, however the full address is still not visible on the directory pages (see here http://destinationsouthernmaryland.alchemidesign.com/explore-legends/museums-historical-sites/)
Additionally, how can I modify the shortcode you had added to the description so it flows as Street, City, State, Country, ZIP?
January 15, 2020 at 6:15 am #525659In all cases you can use an independant GD Post Address element. When the address is shown using the “Show in what locations” options in the custom fields it is displayed with default settings. Remove all options from the Custom Fields “Show in what locations” and place a GD Post Address element in the various places.
For the Archive item, edit the GD Archive item template and place a GD Post Address element there.
Use the ‘Template’ option in the advanced settings to display as you want.
January 15, 2020 at 3:05 pm #525775So under the “Show in what locations” section, it is shown in: Details page sidebar, listings page, and map bubble.
I have already adjusted the details page sidebar to reflect the appearance I would like.
Where can I access the editor location for the listings page appearance and the map bubble appearance?
Additionally, regarding the shortcode, you had added
[gd_post_address show="icon-label-value"]
How can I input these values so they display as Street, City, State, Country, ZIP?
%%street%%, %%city%%, %%region%%, %%country%%, %%zip%%
It currently displays as
Street
City
State
Country
ZIPThanks!
January 15, 2020 at 3:06 pm #525776To clarify, I am asking how to add the street, city etc. shortcode tags to the shortcode snippet in the Place tabs.
January 16, 2020 at 8:24 am #525900Use the address template option as shown in the attached screenshot.
January 16, 2020 at 5:12 pm #526017I’ve been looking for the page in my dashboard that the screenshot features and I haven’t been able to find it. Could you perhaps link me to the dashboard page I can make those changes in? Thank you!
January 16, 2020 at 9:31 pm #526072Those are the options in the GD Post Address element.
If you haven’t already, try using the shortcode builder.
You can use the shortcode builder to make new shortcodes:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/If you are using widgets, the GD Post Address widget has those options too, as well as the GD Post Address block.
January 17, 2020 at 3:45 pm #526169Thank you, I got the detail page description address to appear the way I would like!
Lastly, how can I get the address to appear differently in the GD Listings and the GD Map Bubble? They are still Street and ZIP only.
