Add Event Shortcode on a WP page

    whenever i use:

    [gd_add_listing listing_type=gd_event login_msg=”Please register and login to submit listings” show_login=true]

    to try and add an event, it takes me to an Add Places page ?

    instead of going here:
    https://ctdnetwork.net/Demo2/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event

    any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    It seems to me you have the right shortcode.

    Now you just need to give your users a way to find that URL so they can add an event.

    You can try adding it to the menu as a custom link, so they can find it easily. Have you tried that?

    So, use that URL instead when you want to tell people where to add events.
