    Hello,

I am currently trying to format my listings/search page so that it displays all of the listings inside of accordion toggles. Has anyone done this? I seem to be having trouble using any frontend builder like Gutenberg or Wpbakery – they have a specific “title” section and when I drop a shortcode into that section for the listing name it does not display. Anyone have any ideas and/or suggestions? Looking into a custom solution at the moment but would like to stay in WPbakery if possible.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hello,

do you mean you want to put the GD Loop shortcode inside an accordion? Have you already tried that?

I tried that and didn’t have any luck.

Attached are 3 photos that might help show what I am trying to do. You will see how I have set this up in WPbakery but how it is outputting on the actual page.

*note the shortcode for showing the title is not working.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    hi Kevin,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked your screenshots and the shortcode that is shown in the last screenshot is being wrapped with a curly bracket. That’s not a correct shortcode and could you check on it? use [ ] instead.

    Thanks for the reply Kor,

Please note the second image. The shortcode is actually using normal brackets but it is being output inside ‘{}’.

This is using an Ultimate addons accordion but I have tried it with several different accordion plugins and none seem to output the actual shortcode when it’s put into that “title” section in WPbakery.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hello,

You will need to contact the plugin author to ask them how to use shortcodes there.
