How can I over come “The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found
Plugin installation failed”

I am not a programmer and have had no issues till I got to the point to install 1280 Genesis Child Theme.

Any suggestions?

Hi Rudy Sardina,

Thanks for your post. You’re installing a theme and before you install 1280 Genesis Child Theme, you need to purchase the genesis framework here https://my.studiopress.com/themes/genesis/ . Or you can start with some of the free themes provided by GD https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/directory-starter/

Also, it is a theme, not a plugin, so, make sure to go to

WP – Appearance – Themes – Add New

Upload themes there
