I have some problems with “Add Listing” site.
1) I need visual Editor by field description, so I checked the “show visual editor” it works only by gd_events, but not by gd_places and not by gd_webinar2) “Recurring event” works only by gd_events, but doesnot work by gd_webinar by same settings in custom fields
3) There are many Textblock without translation, and I can not find them to make new tranlsation:
Drop file here or
Select file
Click on above field and type to filter list.
Click on above field and type to filter list or add a new city.Starts at / Ends at
for all day
Tick to set eventHow / where can I translate them? (in which file?)
Many thanks in advanceApril 2, 2020 at 9:54 pm #5381501. Check if the package allows HTML. If not, then the editor will be disabled.
2. Are you using the same add-listing page? The one from the GD settings? GD Only supports the single add-listing page linked from the GD Settings.
3. Those strings are in the core, location manager, and events addons. You will need to translate each of them. The PO files are in the language folder of each addon.
Once translated (with POEdit) rename the files to your language and drop them in wp-content/languages/plugins
April 3, 2020 at 8:09 am #5381971) Great, thank you
2) The solution is ckeck this box in package
“Tick to disable recurring events for this package (for events supported post type only).3) I use loco Translate Plugin -> all my files are 100% translated, but this fields are stil in english and I can´t find them in this files.
The Problem with translation strings are small bugs / malfunction in english strings, therefore translation don´t work at this parts.Sometimes it is the missing (.), sometimes it is missing () or to many (s) and so on
for example:
In my add listingform is this
“Click on above field and type to filter list or add a new city.”
But in the translation File / geodirlocation-de_DE.po orignal English
“Click on above field and type to filter list or add a new city”
(this is translated in German)
the only difference ist the (.) at the endDo you want adjusted german Tranlation?
I can send it to you.April 3, 2020 at 6:00 pm #538338Where did you get the file?
You can send it if you like and we can take a look.April 3, 2020 at 6:34 pm #538343Which file do you mean?
I got German translation files from your website.
But the are many very smal mistakes not in translation but in english text strings, so GD doesn´t recognise them. If the is “files” and not “file” or (.) to much or missing, it doesn´t work. You can find my fixed files below.
April 5, 2020 at 5:16 am #538538We do not host those files. Did you get them from WordPress.org?
You may need to update the file by merging it with the current language file in the GD folder.
April 6, 2020 at 7:16 pm #538767I got this files from this site
https://wpgeodirectory.com/translate/projects/and changed them, so they work for me now.
April 7, 2020 at 8:06 am #538854Oh, ok, then you will likely need to update them. Those are mostly V1, and you will need more strings for V2.
