Deleting / Cancelling listings with WooSubscriptions

    I’m using Woosubscriptions with Stripe as the payment gateway. Please could you clear up the following questions I have.

    Q1. Clicking ‘cancel’ subscription from the users dashboard cancels the renewal of their subscription in stripe, but does this delete their actual listing as well? If so, does it delete the listing at the time the user clicks cancel, or does it delete at the time the subscription period ends? e.g when the annual subscription doesn’t renew.

    If cancelling their subscription does not automatically delete their listing too, what should be done?

    Q2. Clicking ‘delete’ next to the listing deletes it from the directory and the users dashboard. However, does deleting the listing automatically cancel their subscription too?
    If not, is there a way to add a message promoting the user to also cancel their subscription to avoid being charged again?

    Q 3. Is it possible for a user to temporarily hide or make private their listing? E.g.they go out of business, or need to show a superior the listing before making it live.

    Every package has an expiry status, what should be done with the listing status when the listing expires. Downgrade, expire, delete.

    1.

    GeoDirectory does not have an integration with WC for recurring payments, so, the status of the listing will not be changed.

    The site admin should change the status directly.

    2.

    You can make a page to tell them they will be billed more.

    3.

    Nothing built in, no, the user cannot set the listing to draft.

    Thanks, is it possible an integration with WC for recurring payments will happen in a future update? It would be an extremely important function – especially for large websites wanting to use GD that use WC for other aspects as well.

    It is something the developers are aware of, and it might be more likely if subscriptions were included with WC but they are not, and instead require a premium addon. Currently we are releasing new features for WPI, and very quickly too, I might add. We haev users switching from WC to WPI because it is more efficient. However, the developers always consider adding popular feature requests, so, time will tell.
