    Hello Team

    I have a small problem and it might be me misunderstanding something.

    I have set up a pricing for £00.30p renewal 1 weekly for 10 weeks. This is what I think I have set up.

    However, the listing ends after 7 days – 1 week.

    See attached.

    What am I doing wrong?

    That setting should finish after a week if the renewal is not successful.
    For a renewal to be successful using PayPal, the customer must have agree to auto-renew in his PayPal account. Are you testing this with a different PayPal account than yours?

    Hi,

    all that looks correct to me. It renews weekly and after 2 days it is sending the pre-expiry notification that is set to be sent 5 days before expiry (as stated in the notification). 5 + 2 = 7 days…

    Hello

    I’m still having problems with this one.

    I would like the payment to be set up to pay £00.20p (changed from £00.30p) once each week for 10 weeks. I believe this is what I have done.

    Every time I set up a test listing, using my details, the paypal order shows the above to be the case. In fact I successfully pay for the renewal each week, but the ad goes into draft after 7 days. I’m not clear why this is happening?

    I still get the same items shown as pictured in the original attachment. Paypal is paying out weekly as a recurring payment.

    Please help.

    Have you managed to look into this yet? I’m still making a weekly payment, yet the listing is not showing as it expired after 7 days – held in draft?

    HI Gary, i only see one confirmed payment on your site which might be the problem, i have setup a recurring payment on a demo site to recurr every 2 days, i will keep an eye on it and see if i can replicate your results.

    Hello Stiofan

    Did you get anywhere with testing out the settings for the 2 day reoccurring payment? My payments are still going out of the bank as arranged for 10 weeks, but the listing is still in draft.

    As stated, the listing only lasted 7 days and not a reoccurring 7 days for 10 weeks – despite the payment going out. Is the set up incorrect or is it a bug?

    Hi Gary,

    My test also went to draft, i think it is a combination of two things, one being that paypal IPN can sometime not be exact, sometimes it is a day before or a day after, we might have to add a number of grace expire days. I have a test setup to test some new settings, and there should be a IPN from paypal today at some point so i’ll keep you posted.
