WP All Import Addon: maybe soon!

Hi,

I find it such a shame that Wp All Import plugin does not support GeoDirectory.
But I understand that this is because GeoDirectory uses its own custom tables and fields.

Only I do not understand the interest of reinventing the wheel.
WP All Import only do this and do it very well. Very powerful features:

• CVS or XML import
• Cron jobs!!
• Field names auto-detected
• Create, delete or update data (if update, choose which data to update)
• XPath
• Mapping
• Template syntax for loops and conditional statements
• Logging
• Import data for custom MySQL Tables or Users (and users meta)
• And more…

They also recently released a new API to facilitate the creation of addons:

• Existing Addons (including SEO Yoast addon)
• API Infos
• API New Structure

By searching on the forum, I understand that you do not want to support for third-party plugin.
So I asked the WP All Import team to develop an addon for GeoDirectory.

Here’s what they told me:

Thanks for getting in touch. We very much appreciate the request. Generally speaking, we need to hear from the author of the plugin or theme that they want us to make an add-on for their product. We’ve made add-ons for products without the support of the author before and no one ended up using them because the developers didn’t tell their users about them. And no one likes writing code that never gets used.
So if you can get the authors of the GeoDirectory plugin to get in touch with us and to agree to help get the word out we’d love to get to work on an add-on

I hope you will agree that, an addon for GeoDirectory greatly increase the power of CSV imports.
