    Hello,

So I am having a strange error with my site.

When I set Permalinks to Postname, and run a search using a keyword present in every listing. The returned results are zero, and I receive the message “No listings found which match your selection.”

If I change the Permalinks to Default, and run the search again, all the listings with the keyword show up in the search results. If I then click on a listing, the listing detail page loads, but the image at the top of the page, shows a constantly turning arrow in place of the listing image, and the sidemap shows “Sorry no listings found”

I would be grateful if someone could get back to me.

GD will not work with permalinks set to default.
If you post your URL and admin details in a private message, we can have a look for you.

I am guessing you had navigated to one city only. I added the location switcher to your menu so you can see “where” you are. Please check again.

It looks like that “anger” is in a custom field. GD will check the entry titles, description and taxonomies (tags and categories) of the listings, not custom fields.
But the WP search will return them.

Sorry, just spotted they are not custom fields, because the WP search would not have found them either.
I am not sure now why it does not find it, it looks like because the word is in a list, it cannot find it. I’ll ask if the others can shed light on this.

    Hi,

the only reason I can think of, is the same as Guust. GD search is unable to read in lists.

I’ll check with the developers and we will let you know.

    Thanks

I’ll tell the developer this. It appears to be quite random.
I’ve search for few words that I saw present in content of your listings and it appeared to be working all the time…
    Thanks
