The media upload functionality has broken on my site since i activated the GD core plugin. Disabling the plugin and the upload works again.

I select a photo (jpg) file from my pc, upload it and the progress bar then sticks at 100% (dosnt progress to crunching / preview etc).

Looking at the script errors via Chrome i get the following:

    JQMIGRATE: Logging is active
    handlers.js?ver=4.3.1:84 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘replace’ of nulluploadSuccess @ handlers.js?ver=4.3.1:84(anonymous function) @ handlers.js?ver=4.3.1:476(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:28(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13i @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13i @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13r @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13t.extend.dispatchEvent @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13t.extend.trigger @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13m.onload @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:28(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13i @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13r @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13t.extend.dispatchEvent @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:14(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13i @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13r @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13t.extend.dispatchEvent @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13t.extend.trigger @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:13(anonymous function) @ plupload.full.min.js?ver=2.1.1:14

Anyone else had this or know how to fix it?

    sorry i wasnt clear.

Its when uploading via the normal wordpress media upload.
    http://www.velodure.com/wp-admin/media-new.php

I’ve using this file http://www.velodure.com/DSC_0406.jpg and im sure you can see all of the failed uploads in the media lib

To try and track down the issue i have disabled all plugins and everything works until i re-enable the GeoDirectoy Core plugin.

    Thanks

i have now tried in IE and it reported this error:
Unable to get property ‘replace’ of undefined or null reference
    from handlers.js

again, disabling the GeoDirectory plugin removed the error

    Hi,

not sure why GD would block it, but you were trying to upload a big size image with 240dpi.

I saved them at 72dpi (web format) and reduced its size a bit and it uploaded fine. All other images I tried worked regularly, so I’d say the problem is the image rather than the plugin.

    Please see image attached.

    Thanks
