I created my first locations into the directory and all location descriptions are also added like posts. Why is this? It altered my Front Page making it look terrible.

What can I do in order location descriptions are not added as post_type posts?

Also, this happens every time the location is edited. I mean, if I edited a location four times, four posts are created.

Where and how do you add locations?
There is no need to add locations, they are automatically added as listings are added.

That is very strange behavior, can you post your URL and admin details in a private reply, then we can have a look for you.

You should not use any caching except GD Booster:

You have a plugin that adds GD listings to other categories.
The “Sitio o Negocio Categories” option is added by some other plugin you use.

Can you try disabling your plugins that change your normal category behavior, like Simple Taxonomy and Parent Category Toggler ?
