How do users edit previous reviews?

    I have had a couple reviewers become upset now that they can’t find a way to edit or revise their reviews and star ratings. Nor are they able to remove a review.

    Users must be able to remove their reviews for times when they fly off the emotional handle and post something that they later regret – or get things worked out with a business owner. And sometimes it is the users fault that there was a problem – so the review may be unfair.

    Am I missing something or is this all not possible? If a user doesn’t have control of a review it’s not a good thing and created an admin nightmare.

    Hi,

    as far as I know, none of the big players allow to edit reviews. Trip Advisor and Yelp to name 2.

    Thye allow you to enter a second review if you want to add something to your previous experience.

    If a user wants to have his review removed, he can only contact the website admins.

    You know I wouldn’t ask for it if the big boys weren’t doing it. 😉

    I think it’s a must have – not even worthy of a feature request at this point.

    Per your request I added a feature request a couple weeks ago but I don’t see it to vote on it. Are you guys just going to add it to the core because it should already be in there? 😉
