General directory question – input requested

    Hi,
    I’m starting to do an import of several thousand locations that have no profile information. I’m guessing that at least a few users here have encountered or will encounter this point of the process. My question is how did you are are handling this? Since the profile is the first tab that users see and that is completely blank just leave a BIG WHITE space which makes the page(s) look awful. It would be OK if we could remove empty tabs by default (this was discussed in another thread) but until then I need to find a solution.

    Any advise?

    Name, address and category of the business? A lot of directory systems seem to do this just so they have a reasonable number of listings. Personally, I hate the idea!

    Thanks for your input. The reasoning for the directory volume is specific an not to boost numbers. I was really looking for some useful suggestions though. Have a good one!
