Hi all,
John completed the X Compatibility Pack plugin, members can download it from the download area as usual.
You can see a demo here: http://dropct.com/x/
For free users, I’ve submitted the plugin to wordpress.org. Please be patient few more days while it’s being reviewed by them.
Before activating the plugin make sure to have both GeoDirectory core plugin and X installed and activated.
Don’t forget to report any issue here… 🙂
Thank you!
The Team
July 21, 2014 at 11:50 pm #9303Cool! Thank you, Paolo!
July 22, 2014 at 12:41 pm #9372I can confirm that it works perfectly well for me, using Ethos child theme.
I was using some considerable custom css, but I’ve now removed it all without any problems.
July 22, 2014 at 12:50 pm #9375Glad you like it 🙂
July 22, 2014 at 1:07 pm #9377If I had one (very) small complaint, it’s that the button colours (search etc.) aren’t being pulled from the X settings so I still need to style those, otherwise it’s pretty good 🙂
Thanks John!

Please avoid being pushy and respect our support policy and other’s work.
If you need immidiate help you can ask John if he’s available for hire and pay him to do what you need.
Thank you
July 22, 2014 at 4:23 pm #9420I was not being pushy, really far from what I wanted, really sorry about that if it seemed this way.
the thing is that I saw I didnt ask him what to do and didnt thank him in the other post, so I thanked him in the other one.
he was all ears the other day with a problem I had and I would definitely not push him in any way, sorry trying to be polite!
July 22, 2014 at 4:52 pm #9429Hi,
Maybe there is a discrepancy in the versions of X we are using? Could you let me know which version you are running please.July 22, 2014 at 4:59 pm #9430Just FYI, as I’m not having that problem, I’m using X 2.2.0 and X-Shortcodes 2.3.3 here.
I also don’t have breadcrumbs enabled in the Customizer, in case that’s relevant.
July 22, 2014 at 5:40 pm #9435I’m using everything updated (2.2.0 X, 2.3.3 x-shortcodes, last version of GD and add-ons), just updated the theme again but the error persists
July 22, 2014 at 6:17 pm #9439Hi,
in the file /wp-content/themes/x/framework/functions/global/breadcrumbs.php, the function x_breadcrumbs() is wrapped in a conditional statement that makes it pluggable:
if ( ! function_exists( 'x_breadcrumbs' ) ) : function x_breadcrumbs() {However it appears that for all of us, the x compat plugin is loaded before the theme, while for you the theme is loaded before the plugin.
can you please provide a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply so that we can test it?
Thx

Thanks for that. I have disabled the breadcrumb function so that the plugin can be activated. This should give us a chance to start troubleshooting the issue… -
