    Sorry for the confusion, I like the functionality of the location locker for the map but i was just hoping that i could make the gd search ignore the locked location.

    At the moment if i type in the gd search eg. California whilst locked on to Los Angeles and click search it will only provide results for Los Angeles. The exception being if wait for auto complete to provide an option for California and I click that link.

    I was hoping that I could make it so that the clicking search would search globally even if locked to a location

    I tested the code in a previous comment which made gd search work as desired except it also effected the functionality of the map. was hoping i could limit the rule so that it only effects the gd search?

    Hi,

    I added this code to my child theme and it worked great.
    I was just wondering if it would be possible to adapt this rule to make the home page and gd search delete the cookies but otherwise do nothing??

    cleared browser cache and used gd booster to clear site cache and refreshed, but didn’t help.

    it only seems to happen only when logged in on the edit profile page ‘http://poi-australia.com.au/members/(username)/profile/edit/group/1/’.
    all over pages work perfect.

    Hi,

    I am are using wp admin bar with GDF and Buddypress integration.

    I have wp admin bar set as visible when logged out, the register button works great and redirects to the buddypress registration form but the log in button unfortunately links to wp-login page.
    Is it possible to have the log in redirect to geodirectories log in page?
    Would also be great to to redirect the log out button and log in link on successful account activation page away from the wp-login page?

    Hi Guust

    Thank you – this system is absolutely BRILLIANT !! The Category Listings are now displaying the parent categories which is perfect.

    With regards to the issue of the Titles, I have attached 2 views:
    1. the system view
    2. the public view

    Perhaps we have a setting wrong somewhere which will not allow the titles to change ??

    With reference to the attached file is it possible to default the system to opening the Map Title Box with just the Parent Categories allowing the user to expand the Parent Category only if they are interested?

    Without this feature the Map Reference Box could end up larger than the web page …

    The website is now updating again however the Titles still do not change e.g. I have numbered the Holiday Lets however all the descriptions remain as just “Holiday Let” – without the number.

    Please confirm whether it is possible to change a Title once it has been entered into the system e.g. if an item is originally titled “Butcher” can it be renamed “ABC Butcher”? Or do we have to delete the item and start again?
