Also, when a search is done it only shows 5 listings per page – how can I change the number of listings that are on each page? I was able to do this in the general WP settings for the listing pages but it doesn’t seem to affect the search results pages.
Have just installed an update – you can ignore my 2nd and 3rd questions about the compass icon not showing and the search terms with the X – these are Ok now.
Thanks, turning off Rocket loader seems to have done the trick.
However I have a couple of other questions about the search – when I type in a location like Sydney in to the “Near” box, listings in Sydney will come up, but when I search for the location Melbourne, there are no results, even though there are listings in Melbourne, and with the word “Melbourne” in the listing title.
Also the compass icon has disappeared, in the console I have the error
Uncaught ReferenceError: geodir_insert_compass is not definedWhen you enter a search term and the results come up, the search term appears in a box with an X which gives the impression you can click the X to remove the search term, but nothing happens when you click it?

Ok I have worked out that the problem is because we are using Cloudflare. When I switch off Cloudflare there are no problems. Any suggestions how to fix?
This reply has been marked as private.Further to this I have set up a copy of the website on a fresh WP install and things seem to be working properly. Perhaps I should re-install WP on the main site??
Also when I try to change rating sort order using the dropdown, the ratings text for each rating disappears.
It’s ok now, seems to have fixed itself after I did some updates.
Ok thanks. However I have another problem, we have several external Infusionsoft forms on the site, and GD Booster is putting them below the footer. See here: http://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/find-a-practitioner/
How can I fix this, I don’t know how to exclude Infusionsoft files from GD Booster.(BTW I have also had to exclude my main stylesheet as GD Booster was stopping it from working properly – this is a disappointment as it is the main css file that I wanted to minify).
I’ve set my custom star image for featured listings only, with css, but it’s still not working, what am I doing wrong?

The reason I changed the star image is because I wanted a transparent background, because my featured listings have a different coloured background in listing view (so they stand out more from the free listings). Is it possible to set a different star image for the featured listings then?
And thanks Rich for picking up the issue with Adblock, I’ll have to look into this as I don’t want that happening 🙂
Hi, I have now disabled the other directory plugin and W3 total cache, however I’m still getting the error – here is an example: http://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/psh-directory/plastic-surgeons-wa/mr-lewis-blennerhassett-mbbs-fracs/
The listing appears in listing view but when you go into it it’s not found.
The only fix seems to be, to go into each listing in the backend, (where for some reason it has changed to “pending review”) and here I have to select the parent category and set the child category as the default.
I have already done this for some listings but as there are about 400 I am hoping I don’t have to do this for every listing!
This reply has been marked as private.I tried bulk editing and selecting both the original and parent categories but still have the same problem, in the listing only the original category is selected. (please see 2 attached screenshots)
Also what is strange is that even though the posts are listed as “published”, when I go into them they have reverted to “pending review”.
These listings were uploaded using the place_listing.csv file.
