Thanks for the reply, would only use ‘in’ if it could be limited to county/country because having it activated on small towns and villages appears to be confusing people.

Saw it set up to county/country on similar directories so thought I would ask as it seems to work really well for them.

No they are not, we can’t use parent categories.

Because geodirectory classes the parent and the subcategory as 2 categories and not 1 we can’t use them.

Will have a look at the header menu, does that work the same as the search drop down though?

I resolved the issue, I still had paypal sandbox selection ticked. Apparently it was asking me to log in to paypal as it was trying to do a test payment.

Now I have it unchecked it’s giving the option to pay as guest.

Tried and it keeps saying I need to create an account to pay the invoice.

World pay seems to do what we require but will have another look at paypal to ensure recurring payment is not selected.

What do you mean by adding a custom field?

I have tried 3 ways of setting up the search function and each time I come across a problem.

It’s like geodirectory is not quite fit for our purpose, what I thought would be standard things are not (adding 2 or more cpt’s to one listing can’t be done and you can’t specify what the search bar shows in each field)

Just noticed that my map no longer works, what can cause this?

It was working earlier and now it’s stopped.

Could it be the listings I imported?

Sorted now, just managed to import the last one now.

It’s really strange, exported and it failed to import. I copied and pasted the csv file into a new spreadsheet and imported in blocks of 100 and it worked.

Really weird why it worked with 6 and failed on 2 resulting in them being broken down and imported in smaller blocks.

Took ages but seems to be ok, checked some and they appear to of imported correctly but need to check some others to be certain.

I never created the categories for any of the listings.

As I imported it auto created the categories for me and not sure on the package id.

I left them in while importing the others and it caused no issues.

Will try those 2 things tomorrow morning and see if it changes anything.

Lime I say, it’s strange as they are the same for all I imported it’s just those 2 refused to import.
