I’m struggling to set the search up how I want it to, that’s if it works how I would like.
We have multiple categories, I want to be able to have people select ‘Places to stay’ and it list different accommodation types, ‘Services’ and it list service types, ‘Days Out’ and it list different days out categories.
Original I set them up in different CPT’s and it worked perfectly until people needed listing across CPT’s. They were a Hotel with grounds so they are a Hotel and a Day Out.
I put all listings back into one CPT then to make this possible, while thats great I was wanting to have the first search bar to still be active so people can pick ‘Days Out’ and then the next search bar show the categories under that or ‘Places to Stay’ and the next search to show all the categories under that one.
At the moment it lists them all under the one drop down (Categories) and it makes the list massive and I still have allot more to add.
Is it possible to have the first box list parent categories, second one list the sub categories and then the obvious search near box?
