Guust’s event is duplicated too. Check event “Numero tres” in this url: http://goldroo.net/events/concerts/.
Remember, this happens in parent category listing pages with events that have category and subcategory.

You are not using subcategories.
I,ve just check.
Its only happening with events.
The solution was given for eqhes in that post, but the changes are overwritten with each update because its not fixed in your side.
4 months later and a new update and this bug persists.
Please, could you stop ignoring me and fix this bug?
Ok, I put the directly into the functions.php file and works fine.
