Hello,
Yes, V2 Geocodes on import.
I will have to flag your topic for the developers to comment on the nuances.
Thanks for your patience
Hello,
there is not a setting for that, so it would be a customization.
I will flag your question for the developers and they can let us know if there is a workaround.
Yes, of course, please write back with WP Admin and SFTP credentials and we will take a look.
Have you uploaded the latest version of GDV2 already?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
And this error is showing after you activate GDV2?
Hello
Can you say more about the issue? It seems to work for me.
You will need the Location Manager addon to place listings outside the default location.
Yes! Many new shiny settings!
🙂
We have a video that covers setup and the setup wizard here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/
You can use a different theme, like Supreme or Directory Starter for now for your testing.
Are you working on a staging site? If so, maybe you could start over again from the beginning now that you understand the instructions.
It sounds like you tried to remove all the V1 plugins by FTP, and then upload all the V2 plugins by FTP.
Did you deactivate them all first?
Hello,
I can see what you mean there. The developers have been alerted.
Hello,
welcome to GeoDirectory and our forum, we are glad you are here.
Once your map is working, it will be possible for users to drag a pin, and the address will be fetched by lookup from the Map API of your choice.
Many problems with maps these days come from the billing setup. Do triple check to make sure you have associated an active billing account with the Google API key you are using. You can use OSM as a temporary measure to ‘make it go’ until you get Google setup. Adjust the Map API provider at:
GD – Design – Map – Load Map API – OpenStreetMap
It sounds like some of your listings might not have categories assigned. Check the all to make sure the address is complete, categories are assigned and that map icons area assigned to the categories.

We can check your settings for you, just make a private reply and include your site URL and WP Admin credentials; only the team can read private replies.
Hello,
you have the category field set as a select. Try setting it to multiselect instead at
CPT Settings – Custom Fields – Category – Show advanced – Category display type
Let us know how it goes
Hello,
I am unable to login with those credentials.
ERROR: The password you entered for the username admin is incorrectThis topic was about the location switcher. Please open a new topic for the new issue.
November 10, 2018 at 3:02 pm in reply to: gd_loop: how to change the amount of listings per page #453467I think this is still controlled by the WP setting for posts per page.
I will flag your question for the developers.
Did you deactivate and delete all the addons first?
This reply has been marked as private.Hello!
Our doc is here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#import
Best practice:
1. Configure your CPT and custom fields and packages
2. Add dummy data to the CPT
3. Export CPT Listings CSV
4. Merge profiles into the CSV, leaving the columns exactly as they are.
5. Check to make sure all required fields are filled.
6. Attempt import on a staging site with 100 or less listings for testing.
7. If there are no errors, repeat with the rest of the data.Write back and let us know if you have any questions
You will need a membership to make use of our premium support here.
Are you already familiar with the impprt/export functionality? You can use that to import listings.
Did you have additional or more specific questions?
