You can create a WP Page, then add in GD Shortcodes.

If you want, you can then set that page as the WP Front Page in:

GD Home is a special page, like the add listing page, where the entire page contents is output by the GD Plugin, so builders can’t be used on the GD Home Page.

You can download that theme from this site under the “My Account” section. Install the theme and set up the widgets as you like.
4. each listing have subcategory called “projects”. So like I am doing “property developers” category, there is subcategory “projects” (for the property developers). It could be “architect” main category, and subcategory “projects”
Any category can have a subcategory. When you edit the categories for Place,create the “Parent” category first, then when you edit the subcategory, you can choose which category is the parent.

I think that is not possible in V1 without customizing the template.

When installing the main GeoDirectory plugin (GD Core) a default custom post type is created called Places.
There are 2 ways to change that to your choice:Install the Custom Post Type addon, then you can change all Places default wording easily.

– On the side of listings can I have category icons and not description? See in screenshot 1 this is words?
– It would be awesome too if the side of listings was the large square icons I have in category description as in screenshot 2, not the icons? As it makes more impact and they are larger size to category map marker (screenshot 3)
There are no options or settings to achieve this, so this is a customization you would have to undertake yourself because it is outside of what we can help with in support.

Make sure you are only using LibreOffice for the edits.
You can also back up your listings export file and your site in case there are problems.
You might try the import with just one or two listings first to make sure it works as expected.Description content should not double unless it is double inside the spreadsheet.
