I ran the page check and now all the GD Permalinks are set.
Let us know if you run into anything else.
Excellent!
Hi Mike,
please send over your site details and we can take a look and get it sorted.
I am not sure if you mean ‘listings’ instead of pages. Did you just say you added 320 listings via import?
Check for them at WordPress -> Places or your CPT to find your imported listings.
To add widgets to the home page, go to
WordPress – Appearance – Widgets
Try adding a GD Home Map, GD Popular Categories, and GD Popular posts view.
Try it now and let us know. Lazy load has been disabled at
Geodirectory – Design – Scripts

What’s the problem? How can we help?
When you check in GD Permalinks, and see the name of the page that is set for GD Home, then you can check in WordPress Pages to find the page with the same name.
You can create them manually and assign them at GeoDirectory Permalinks, or you can go to the GD Tools section and run the Pages Check.
Sure thing! Happy to help 🙂
Hi there,
thanks for writing in today:
1. You might find some inspiration from the sites in the showcase: https://wpgeodirectory.com/category/showcase/
2. Page markers? Sorry, a link would help to know what you mean.
GD pages are the ones listed in the GeoDirectory Permalinks settings at the bottom of the page.
These are pages like GD Home, Login, and Location
I edited the CSS and added it.
Check and let us know.

The only way is to change the category icon.
In the Advanced Search settings it is possible to set the first time load options to redirect the user to the default location. You could then:
1. Set default location in that area
2. Set GD Home map to appropriate zoom for that areaOtherwise, you could hide certain categories from the map.
