I did a completed deletion of WordPress and database and began from scratch.

I have installed plugins and themes,

I imported “place categories” and approximately 320 “listings” from csv files.

I was about to begin work on the home page when I noticed that it was missing along with about 7 to 8 of the pages that were installed with the GD Modern theme.

This happened yesterday, which was why I started over from scratch, thinking that I had accidentally deleted them.

How do I get the pages back?

You can create them manually and assign them at GeoDirectory Permalinks, or you can go to the GD Tools section and run the Pages Check.

The tools says that the pages are ok.

But the pages are still not showing in the Pages Tab.

I have no idea how to create them manually.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Looks like they are ok.

What’s the problem? How can we help?

When you check in GD Permalinks, and see the name of the page that is set for GD Home, then you can check in WordPress Pages to find the page with the same name.

The original home page called “GD Home” and all it’s associated pages disappeared.

So I created a blank page and called it “New Homepage”. Also created a new blank page called “Blog”.

There are no other pages that show in the GD Permalinks or WP pages.

So my question is where are the original GeoDirectory pages and how do I get them back?

    Hi Mike,

please send over your site details and we can take a look and get it sorted.

I am not sure if you mean ‘listings’ instead of pages. Did you just say you added 320 listings via import?

Check for them at WordPress -> Places or your CPT to find your imported listings.

To add widgets to the home page, go to

    WordPress – Appearance – Widgets

Try adding a GD Home Map, GD Popular Categories, and GD Popular posts view.

I ran the page check and now all the GD Permalinks are set.

Let us know if you run into anything else.

You can create new users in the Users page, WordPress – > Users – Add new and set them as an administrator.

WordPress pages are kept at WordPress -> Pages
