There are many plugins on WordPress.org that can be used to achieve something similar.
If you find one you like, you can post back here to let other members know.
If allowed, owners may delete their listings from the author page.
About the function, I will flag your question for the developers.

If you really want to, yes you can create it as a pre-defined field, but it will still have to be configured for each CPT.
Here is a blog post with an example for creating a pre-defined field.

Hello,
The plugins are there and working. I do not see any errors.
If there is an issue, please describe how to view the issue.
About the themes, perhaps contact your host about upgrades and re-installations.
The default location was incorrect. I set it to London and it works now.
Please test it and let us know.
Thanks
Hello,
Make sure to set your default location first and to finish all steps in the basic installation.
If we should need to look at the settings because the problem persists, please make a private reply and include your site information so we can login.

Thanks

Can you say more about what you are trying to achieve?
Chances are your old URL is in several places, which is why we recommend better search and replace.
Please see these instructions for how to change your site URL:
At the new link I can see the image. The old link shows no site at all.
Once you change the values in your DB to the new link it should work
