How can I get a text area in the header area of the landing page, is there a widget for this?
WordPress has a widget for text.
Also when I add a listing and upload an image (logo), is there any way of using the same logo for multiple listings (chains) otherwise I will be filling up space in the gallery with the same image. It seems each image can only be linked to one listing?
this is possible for the default image for all listings of a type (in Place Settings, for example), or to set default image for a Category (Category Default Image).

To address the license and cached settings issue, clear your browser cache and do a hard refresh on the site.
When you deactivate the license, refresh the page, then copy/paste the license and activate.
Hello,
The code is open source, so you can download from WP.org and take a look, certainly.
We cannot say more about how to do this because it is all written, the complete instructions for translation, are outlined in this document:

If you need someone to do this for you, you can hire an expert here:

Please make a new topic for this issue, and follow up with a private reply including the site details and we will take a look.
Hello,
this requires modification of the add listing page template and is considered a customization.
You can find a GD Expert to help you here: https://geodirectoryexperts.com

Source files are available here:

To update files to the latest version, and therefore use new strings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/#updating
This reply has been marked as private.Be sure you are running the latest version of the plugin, and that your language file matches the version of the plugin.
To update or merge language files into a new version see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/#updating
Are you saying that searching the file for ‘endr’ yields no results?
I may be misunderstanding, but it almost sounds like one of the strings in the file should be a different value when seen in different places.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
thank you for sending credentials so we could take a look.
What I can see in FTP now is that language files are out of date, and must be updated using the merge method described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/#updating
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
It looks like you have already translated the correct strings in the file, but, the file is very incomplete.
You may find more translated strings here: https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/fr/default/wp-plugins/geodirectory
Follow the directions on this page to place the file at:
/wp-content/languages/plugins/geodirectory-xx_XX.mo
/wp-content/languages/plugins/geodirectory-xx_XX.poIf you send us FTP information we can check the location of the files. You should only have one copy of the files, and in only the location above.
