Hello,
that is not currently possible, but if it is important to you, please do add it as a feature request here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
Full members may make use of the addons on unlimited domains.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/GeoDirectory includes a “Special Offers” text area that can be displayed o the Detail or Listing pages.
Other members might have used third party plugin, but we don’t have any other official recommendations.
1)can a user select multiple categories & multiple locations during submission?
Multiple categories yes as in GDV1, but listings will still only have one location (address) per listing as is the case with GDV1.
2) I noticed you’re deeply integrating NinjaForms into v2. Does that mean their addons (e.g. Conditional Logic, Multi-Part/Page Forms, etc) will also be integrated? If so, can if be used during submission in an e.g. ‘if this category, then show these custom fields’, the selected categories and their respective custom fields or field groups, which will then be added to their User Dashboard, for editing, and their Detail page?
The integration will not automatically make ‘template/replacement tag’ type behavior work, but there are examples of how to achieve this with a customization. https://wpgeodirectory.com/formidable-forms-in-geodirectory-tabs/
3) If I add NinjaForms “Conditional Logic” & “MultiPage Forms” Addons to v1, will that transfer ok to v2?
The form in the V2 example renders with a shortcode from ninjaforms and so all Ninja forms functionality should work, within reason.
4) are category icons required in v2, or optional?
Map Icon is required, category icon is optional.
5) can a user post to any custom-created Custom Post Type created, from their user dashboard? (or would this require customizing on my part?)
More about this once we are working on the custom post types addon for V2.
6) will v1 custom-created CPTs transfer ok to v2?
Yes
7) will v2 be compatible with WooCommerce basic plugin & WC Product Vendors, to be able to build out a portion of a site with ecommerce?
There is not currently an out of the box integration between GD and WC or WCVendors. The developers will let us know if there are integrations planned. Feel free to provide more specific information about what you are asking about, specifically. Many members have achieved some form of this type of integration without the need to edit the GD core files.
8) if I use a 3rd party theme with the GD Core & Plugins, where do I make the changes to the 3rd party theme? In GD Child page, or in the 3rd party Child page? If it’s done in the 3rd party Child page, will those changes transfer ok to GD v2?
CSS and Snippets for V1 may need to be updated for V2. Geodirectory comes with a place to insert CSS at Geodirectory – Design – Scripts – Custom CSS.
For further support for WP Invoicing please post a topic to the plugin support forum:
Here is an example, check line 12: https://wpgeodirectory.com/formidable-forms-in-geodirectory-tabs/
June 3, 2018 at 8:38 pm in reply to: Clash with Sensei 1.10.1 makes GeoDirectory Category dropdown unusable #433421Hello,
Thank you for providing login information. I was able to login and test the add stallholder page and was able to select a category when Sensei was activated.
I do not doubt that there may be a conflict, though. Can you tell us more about how we can recreate the issue?
If you can clear your browser cache, or perhaps use Chrome incognito for testing to there are no stored files, then you can make a test and see if you can tell us the steps to recreate the issue.
Thanks
There is a field for “Get Directions” that is a link, you can find it at:
Geodirectory – Place Settings – Custom Fields – Get Directions Link
Let us know how it goes
Try this to remove the link from the title:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/map-bubble-without-hyperlink/#post-68793You can try adding custom CSS to center it.
About “Responsiveness”, just a note that at each break point the page should be refreshed, that is the use case that is tested.
To make your own CSS, please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
If you would like us to take a look please send over the URL of the page.
Hello,
Please check to make sure your GD Addons are up to date.
Also make sure to check that in the GD BuddyPress settings that the “listings to show” is set to greater than 0.
If that doesn’t fix the problem, please make a private reply with your site information so we can take a look at the settings.
Yes, do not Network Activate Geodirectory or Addons.
Instead, activate them individually for each site.
This site is looking good!
Be sure to add it to the showcase heer: https://wpgeodirectory.com/category/showcase/
Is there something we can help you with?
Let us know!
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
