Hello,
I don’t want the Admin Bar with Login/Register to show to ANYONE! Logged in or not… I’ve gone in the settings and made sure that the “Toolbar” is NOT shown to logged out users, but it’s still there!
Geodirectory has an option to hide the admin area from users:
Geodirectory – General – Allow user to see wp-admin area – No
How do I make ALL that have registered and all new ones get the SAME free expiration date one year from now.
This is not exactly possible because the expire data will change, moving forward in time based on the settings in the price package. The result is that each expire date will be slightly different.
I do not want to go into each persons page and change them individually. Please explain how I can make all of them all expire the same day.
It is possible to export the listings and then to change the expire date of all of them at once, the import the updated information back into the site.
You are correct, my apologies/
When I delete wordpress user – will the listing be automatically deleted?
No
(WordPress user deletion prompts to ‘remove all content’ as one of the options. If I choose this – will the listing be removed as well)?
Yes
2. We are thinking about cleaning up the users moved from the old installation – if the user shows 0 posts – does this mean he has no listings and it is safe to delete?
No. The answer is no.
You should, yes, because that should not load if you have disabled it.
The problem is not the key, it is the fact that it is loading the maps api (again).
from the code on the edit page in backend, ss attached
Avia is loading the GMap API in the backend.
Is there a reason for that? Disable that and the map should work.Deleting the user by itself will not remove the content….but if you check ‘delete content’ then yes, it will delete their posts. Don’t click ‘delete content’ if you don’t want to delete the posts.
This is similar to removing Geodirectory. Unless the uninstall options are selected, then the data will not be removed.
As mentioned, your topic has already been flagged and the developers will let us know if there is a solution for the post count. My intuition is that the count is only for WordPress blog posts.
This seems like a duplicate topic.
There is no need to create duplicate topics.

Oh! Okay,
you can easily display the categories on the listings by adjusting the value for “Show in what locations” inside the Settings for the CPT. If it is ‘Places’, then:
Geodirectory – Place Settings – Custom Fields
🙂
1. No, listings will not be deleted with the user.
2. The count does not appear accurate, to me on my test site, so I will flag this question for the developers.
Social Importer works, but apps must be submitted to FB.
May 24, 2018 at 9:28 pm in reply to: Issues with widget appearing in wrong place after registration submission #432035Hello,
What are you trying to achieve there? What is the ‘right place’?
Send over a URL so we can take a look.
It is part of the settings for the X theme “ethos”, as per the URL.
Perhaps contact the theme author and ask them how to change title sizes.
Otherwise you can create custom CSS to overrride it like this:
.geodir_category_list_view h3, .geodir_category_list_view h2, .geodir_category_list_view p { font-size: 1em !important; }For more about custom CSS see:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/It is possible to customize a site with CSS.
Here is an example that will get you started on that search box:
@media screen and (min-width: 55em) .buddypress-wrap form.bp-dir-search-form, .buddypress-wrap form.bp-invites-search-form, .buddypress-wrap form.bp-messages-search-form { width: 35em !important; padding-right: 25px !important; }For more information about creating your own CSS, and adding it to your site, please see:
