Hi, I upgraded a bunch of Geodirectory plugins today and after upgrading, the Google map no longer displays on my “add a new place” page on the backend. see the screenshot.

My add a place and add an event page on the frontend both work and the website displays google maps correctly.

I checked that my google maps API is entered and correct.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Avia is loading the GMap API in the backend.
Is there a reason for that? Disable that and the map should work.

    Hi Alex!
    Thanks for the quick reply.

by AVIA, you mean the enfold theme? I checked my enfold seeings and do not have gmap api enabled. see the attached screenshot.

Is this what you mean? sorry if I am misunderstanding.

    thanks,
    Timothy

Sorry, I don’t know what this code is or how to turn it off.

I don’t have any API key entered for google maps on the avia/enfold backend.

    Should I contact enfold support?

    Thanks,
    Timothy

You should, yes, because that should not load if you have disabled it.

The problem is not the key, it is the fact that it is loading the maps api (again).

    Hi Alex,
I rolled back one version of Enfold theme and the issue was fixed. So you’re right – It seems to be some issue with the latest enfold theme and their implementation of google maps API. I’ll work it out with them.

I’m all set – Thanks for your support!
