It is not possible to filter based on custom fields, but some shortcodes/widgets will filter based on tags as well as categories.
In some cases, when this is used extensively, then tags/keywords are hidden in the frontend editor and used more extensively to control filtering in widgets. This is then much more of an admin function, and not something that can usually be adjusted or set by end users.

In most cases, this is caused by a listing not having a category.
Not exactly, no. There can only be one currency in operation on the site at one time.
Past invoices, if completed, would not ‘flip’ currency unless they are edited.
Hello,
a dependant drop down field for selection of category and subcategory is a good idea, and we will keep it in mind for future versions. It is not possible with current options for categories, but the developers have been alerted to the idea and will consider it for GDV2 advanced search filters addon features.

The tag cloud logic is completely within WordPress, not GD. I tried but could not recreate this using latest WP and GD and the cloud works fine for me.
You can try the GD tools at GD – GD Tools – Sync GD Categories
Please see: https://wpinvoicing.com/docs/category/getting-started/
For further issues with WP Invoicing please post to: https://wpinvoicing.com/support/Check your file and database encoding to make sure they are the same.
When you open the sheet on desktop it will give you an option to change the encoding.
Take a look there and let us know which settings you are using. -
