Hello,

Is there a way to add a custom field as a parameter in Popular Post View widget?

Here’s what I’m trying to achieve: https://caribbean.fyi/explore-caribbean/aruba/
Scroll to Aruba Comforts. I want to display listings from the CPT-Accommodations but only for a specific destination (in this case Aruba). We have a custom field set up for destinations, which is being used in Advanced Search.(https://caribbean.fyi/accommodations/)

Maybe there’s another widget for this?

You should be able to do that on the GD Location pages, using the Popular Post widget filtered by location.

It is not possible to filter based on custom fields, but some shortcodes/widgets will filter based on tags as well as categories.

In some cases, when this is used extensively, then tags/keywords are hidden in the frontend editor and used more extensively to control filtering in widgets. This is then much more of an admin function, and not something that can usually be adjusted or set by end users.
