Set the default near me distance at GD – Advanced Search – Geolocation – Default Near Me miles limit (1-200)
Please review this page for more details about how the search fields work: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#near
The search for ‘diesel’ returns no results either 1) because the word ‘diesel’ is not in the title or description or 2) the post types select drop down is not set to a post type that includes any posts that include the search term in the title or description.
good fix! thanks for sharing 🙂

Have you tried: GeoDirectory – Design – Navigation – Show favorite link in user dashboard
The link will only show if the user has added a favorite
That will give you links like:
https://mysite.com/author/username/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place&list=favourite

as explained at the link Kor sent, ‘near me’ will return results from the ‘center’ of the location selected from the dropdown, using either the radius set by the user or the default radius.
Please send over the URL of a listing detail page, and then the URL of a search where you think the listing should be shown and we can see if there is a bug.
You can also include site details in case you would like us to look at the settings:

how can we recreate the issue?
Hello,
another member recently reported this issue; they had a 3rd party plugin that they were using to create shortlinks for their pages, additional permalinks.
You can try disabling your non-GD plugins to find out which might be conflicting with GD.
For issues with customization you can contact a GD Expert here:
https://geodirectoryexperts.comThat can be accomplished with shortcodes https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listings
Orour UsersWP plugin https://userswp.io
Glad you got it working, thanks for letting us know
