1# Overall rating applies to all CPT being rated, so it is always used, unless the CPT has no ratings applied at all. Overall rating uses the same single configuration in all cases.
2# You can create your own transparent image (with grey borders/lines) and add that as the image for the Rating Style at GD > Multiratings > Rating Styles. Be sure to uncheck “EnableFont Awesome” under GD > Design > Detail > DEFAULT RATING SETTINGS.
3# We recommend UsersWP – http://userswp.io – the next major version will include GD integration with the core plugin.

It looks like you don’t have any widgets on your home page.
You can use one page for your “GD Home” page and then a different page for the WordPress “Front Page”,but you should add widgets to the GD Home page, because this is the same layout used for the location page.
Add some widgets to the GD Home page and then you will see those widgets in use on the location page, too.

For #1, you will need custom CSS. For each link that you find, you can use something like the following. This particular CSS will remove the clickable link from the H4 heading in the map bubble. Custom CSS can be added to GD > Design > Scripts > Custom CSS

You can customize your site with CSS. Just add it to GD > Design > Scripts > CSS

The other options don’t give the same advanced control; if normal multiselect is used then the first cat becomes the default cat. You can change this in bulk via import/export but it will be changed back if the user edits the listing.
