This applies to all versions of Yoast.
This is something a junior-intermediate wordpress tech could help you with.
However, since you are at the point of checking your listings on Google (which is awesome!) you may want to hire someone who can help review all your SEO settings, and specifically someone with experience with Yoast.
Here’s a link to some untested code, proceed at your own risk, your mileage may vary:

(Always backup before inserting random codes.)
Hello!
Unfortunately that is not something we will be able to diagnose within phpMyAdmin.
GeoDirectory supports import and export via CSV.
Here’s a link to get you started with that:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6239956/generate-csv-based-on-mysql-query-from-phpmyadmin
Once your data is in CSV, you can find additional instructions here for formatting the CSV for import.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/
I recommend that you first export what is in the GD site, then the db, then merge as needed in CSV before import.
Hello!
You can also take a look here to see how settings can change what fields are displayed in which areas.
I’m interested to see your site, Deb, and to hear more about what you are trying to do there.
We often recommend creating custom lists of links, which could also be buttons or menus.
However Guust is right, that changing that particular feature would require some customization.
Let us know more about what you want to do and maybe we can come up with a different idea for how to get there.
justmark makes good points. Focus on a niche is very important.
screenshot of the settings.
I added this to GD -> Design -> Scripts -> CSS
.category-blog.entry p {
overflow: hidden;
}Hello,
I am unaware of a setting like that.
I will ask around and see if someone else knows of a settings like that.
To clarify, you are saying that any visitor to the site should be able to claim and edit any listing on the site?
Here is a little css. It won’t work right away since I don’t know your site, but you can adapat it to meet your needs.
#myDiv {
overflow:hidden;
}the “hidden” value will hide the text that overflows outside the text area.
There are plugins on wordpress.org that might be useful for that rare eventuality.
No problem! Glad you figured it out. Have a great day!
Yes, that will happen if you don’t use any spaces in what you write.
⭐ maybe a text field?
I am going to point to this thread again, here.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/autofill-category/
Can you be more specific about what would suit your needs?
