Excellent.
So, the issue with CSV files, was it related to those fields?
If you were uploading with a value like 1 or 0 then it would have appeared to have been changing the values, similar to input through the site. Please test and let us know if there are still CSV issues.
Thanks, I have flagged your topic for the developers to take a look.
I resaved permalinks but that didn’t help either. Some of the event locations are missing location information. You could try exporting them to see which ones are missing data, then go back and update them to make sure they have a complete location. To make all features work, all listings need to have a category and complete location/address info.
However, that issue does not account for why the permalink for each event is still showing %%country%% etc and the developers will take a look and let us know.
I resaved the permalinks and it seems to be working, please check
I am sorry, I don’t understand.
If you want events to work, please install the events addon.
Once you do that, if you still have the permalinks issue then post again here and we will check on it.It could be like:
Students,Individual
clear?
Im sorry I get incorrect username or password when I try to login.
Please validate credentials and repost
It is not possible to add sort by options to the search results page.
So, the way it works is,
you want to add URL?
so, click on URL on left side
This will add the field to the right side
Adjust the new URL field settings like giving it a name, then save the new field. For a file, same thing, click it once, it shows up on the right, edit the options.
There are several fields, including photos, that are pre-defined and pre-configured because they are part of the many other features of GD. Specifically, the photos field files can then be displayed with gd_post_images element.
Hope that helps
Please see the instructions here for adding a category selector to the search bar
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#catLet us know if you have any questions
You can change that by translating the theme
Wow, ok, please reply with WP Admin credentials and we will take a look.
Have you already tried adjusting and resaving permalinks?
In the future PLEASE post GDV2 related questions to a GDV2 subforum so we can help you better.
February 12, 2019 at 12:51 pm in reply to: Lost lots of custom fields and images and tables dissapeared! #468478You shouldn’t have any issues with older tables and a newer version of GDV2, as long as it is GDV2. If the tables are GDV1 then the converter will need to be run again.
Our support goes as far as “It sounds like restoring from a backup is a good option” but how you restore is going to have to be up to you.
That can be done with CSS, examples are here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#search
you could make this easier to work with in your CSV if you set it like
Individuals/individuals,Students/students
I am not sure either why you have two like
Individuals/1,Individuals/0
Oh, next change then, each “value” needs to be unique.
Instead of
Individuals/1,Individuals/0,Students/1,Students/0,
it should be like:Individuals/1,Individuals/2,Students/3,Students/4,
If it is not unique, it will simply default. The saved value of “0” simply means the first in the list with “value” = 0
label/value
Individuals/1 -
