    Hi Kiran,

    Actually WPML copy only text field with their copy function. GeoDirectory categories are already passed in WPML copy data but WPML function does not updates it to form.

    I’m not sure if I understood you correctly. What I do is that I click on “Copy content from Englisch” and within the category section nothing is copied. Publishing is not possible.
    Should this work? Or are these fields not supported?

    Please provide page url so we can check on your site.

    There is no translation made but in WPML settings the “original language should be shown” (or whatever this is called). The map is doing it correctly, the listing not:

    For me the import of Facebook events stopped working with my “old” Facebook APP. So, not all functions are still working and it is not a matter of approval at the moment.

    Yelp is not my target.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure what you are looking for. If something happens in between, you will loose data.

    For all these requirements there are solutions. But this cost money and I’m not sure if it will be worth to spend money on realtime data replication (redundant systems). If you like to think in this direction, you need to talk to your hosting company.

    But I like to remember: Maybe your hosting company garantee an uptime of about 99,9%, which means more than 8 hours downtime per year. You can get 99,99% of uptime garantee but this can be really expensive.

    All about statistics. And if you have 99,99% of uptime you are not prevented to loose data.

    Anyhow, you can backup your data with updraft every 4 hours. If you like to get backuped the information once they are published you can implement this by hooking into WP. This can be done by any WP developer.

    No no, not for GDv2. I will implement this for GDv1. So please send me the hook you mentioned.

    Can someone direct me to the hook documentation. I was not able to find it on the codex.
    Shouldn’t be that difficult as Stiofan told.

    You can disable the locations in urls via GD settings – Permalinks and disable “Add location in urls”.

        color: white;
    }

    Google crawler does not care about a css-code “display:none”. It will always crawl and store the information. You have to disable the rendering (echo) of the address at all on what the crawler will see.

    BTW: Hiding text by CSS is a bad practice and can influence your SEO score!

    Jeff,

    this is the “end of the world” of the google map. If you click on “+” of the map it will fill the grey area. You can prevent this if you select a different zoom level.

    @stiofan,

    the question is what hook? Codex is not giving a hint!
    I found one hook, but this hook is too late as already the popup starts to open.
