Hi Stiofan,
I assume your reply made sense to you and everyone who is familiar with your plugin, but I have no idea what you’re talking about.
> It depends on how you setup the Archive
setup the archive?
> if you are using the Elementor post archives
what?
> that replaces the gd_loop so you would not need the GD Archive item
what?
> If you are using the gd_loop then you can just edit the GD Archive Item page
what?
> it is not confined to the Archive layout when editing so you don’t get a full visual representation when editing
what?2. Thanks for looking into it.

April 26, 2019 at 3:41 am in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482953Alex,
Thank you for the more detailed response.1. The display condition for GD Archive is “Places Archive”, but what is the display condition for the GD Archive Item template?
2. On this page, it says “Override the GD Search template – Archive Layout applied to Search – this will also override the WP site search at the same time.”. Is there a way to make a search template just for the Directory? Because searching for pages within a site is different than searching for listings within the directory.
Thanks.

How to customize GD Archive using elementor
Create a new Archive Template.
Elementor > New Template > Type = Archive > Name = GD Archive Template,
Then choose a blank template.Open page GD Archive in edit mode on WordPress. Note how it has 6 shortcodes:
[gd_notifications] [gd_category_description] [gd_search] [gd_loop_actions] [gd_loop layout=1] [gd_loop_paging]
(see attached picture)Create the same structure on Elementor. On the GD Archive Template you just created, drag the respective widgets
GD > Notifications
GD > Category Description
GD > Search
GD > Loop Actions
GD > Loop
GD > Paging
(see attached picture)Hit Save. Then you’ll need to chose the Display Options. Select Include > Places Archive, then click Add Condition, and Include > Place Tags > All, click Add Conditions one last time, and Include > Place Categories > All.
Hit save and you’re done with GD Archive.
I don’t know how to proceed with the rest of the pages.
Questions:
1. GD Archive Item. What post type is it? What do I select as Display condition on Elementor?
2. GD Details. What post type is it? What do I select as Display condition on Elementor?
3. I am assuming Add Listing and Location are just pages, so I can select Display Condition > pages > Add Listing and Location. Is this correct? If not, can you please reply with the correct choices instead of just pointing out they are wrong.
4. Do I need to change anything on GeoDirectory > Settings > Pages? If I do, please be specific. Thanks for the support. I would appreciate if someone other than Alex could take the time to reply.

The settings you mentioned are the default and haven’t been changed. I’ve listed above the steps to reproduce the bug.
Thanks.April 25, 2019 at 6:58 pm in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482900This reply has been marked as private.April 25, 2019 at 6:56 pm in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482898Steps to reproduce:
– Create a header on elementor, display options Entire Site
– Create a footer on elementor, display options Entire Site
– Create a Single Page Template, display options All Singular.Every page on the site has a header, footer, and is formatter according to the Single Page Template.
http://testsite.kinsta.cloud/test/GD’s detail page is also correctly formatted with a header, footer and according to Single Page Template
http://testsite.kinsta.cloud/places/morimoto/However places, categories, locations and everything else isn’t.

April 24, 2019 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482677I meant “Display conditions > Entire site”.
April 24, 2019 at 8:42 pm in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482673The Theme Builder feature of Elementor cannot be used with GeoDirectory because it can only be applied to Pages. GD Archive, GD Details, etc are not pages.
Proof:
1. On Elementor Pro, create a Single Page Template and make it the default for all pages (Display Conditions > Pages > All).
2. Now click on any listing from GeoDirectory and see that themplate was not applied.April 24, 2019 at 8:22 pm in reply to: You can edit the contents directly, or use an advanced theme builder to create.. #482669Assuming it is possible, if you make a video creating a template for the details page (for example) from scratch using Elementor, what will clear out most questions.
