Please read my original message. I see you’re trying to help but these are the replies I’ve received:
– “have you tried adjusting the “Page Templates”?”
– “we’d need to check your Website backend in order to see what your theme is capable of”
– “you must create the layout as a single or archive using the “Theme Builder” menu item (Elementor latest).”Do you see how they have nothing to do with the topic?
April 24, 2019 at 7:06 pm in reply to: You can edit the contents directly, or use an advanced theme builder to create.. #482642That’s also off-topic. Are you doing this on purpose or am I really failing at communication?
April 24, 2019 at 6:48 pm in reply to: You can edit the contents directly, or use an advanced theme builder to create.. #482629Hi Kor,
I think we are on different topics. I am talking about how to use Elementor to customize GDs templates. Your documentation says you can, then says you can’t, then tells you create new templates.
“in order to see what your theme is capable of”. The capabilities of my theme has nothing to do with the topic.
Thank you.

I hope I’ve shown how confusing this documentation is.
Can you please make a video on this passage in your documentation:
“or use an advanced theme builder to create a new template.”How exactly does one use Elementor to create a new template, since you can’t use elementor to customize anyting on GD?
April 23, 2019 at 11:18 pm in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482419It’s confusing because Elementor is both a Page builder and a Theme builder. You’re giving conflicting information on https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/builders/
On one hand you say:
“Page builders can be used on the GD Location page but are not supported for use on the GD Archive Item, GD Archive, GD Detail, and GD Search page templates.”So we can’t use Elementor to customize these templaes.
But on the same page:
“Theme Builders can be used to edit the GD Archive Item, GD Archive, GD Detail, and GD Search page templates.
Beaver Themer
Elementor Pro Theme Builder
”Ok so we should use Elementor. Well, which one is it?
You also say in the middle “Elementor Use GD Widgets for building.” Wow exactly do we do this?
An example would be so much better and simpler to comprehend. A 5 min video of you customizing any of these pages with Elementor would be great.
April 23, 2019 at 9:00 pm in reply to: Not compatible with Elementor Single Templates (not applied to GD urls.) #482401Hi Alex,
I’ve read both links. Can you please be a bit more specific becasue I still don’t know how to solve this.
[Header] – applied to all pages
[Footer] – applied to all pages
[page title and breadcrumb] – applied to all pages via Single Page TemplateSo every page from GD has a header and a footer, but no page title and breadcrubm (using these features as example). Locations, places, listings… they don’t have any element from the Single Page Template.
How exactly should we add them? Because adding them to GD Archive, GD Details does not work, at least not with Elementor.
April 23, 2019 at 7:31 pm in reply to: How to change the default URL from / to /gd? (/places to /gd/places…) #482388Hi,
Thanks for the fast reply. However these settings are not what I am looking for. I don’t need to do this /places = /restaurants, but this /places = /retail-directory/restaurants
Thanks again for your support
