Hi Alex,
with search page I mean that page where all search results are shown, the list of listings on the left sinde with the map and the pins on the right (see screenshot).With GDV1 I was able to allow users to sort their results on this page by certain parameters, like title A-Z/Z-A or by “best reviews first” or prices ascending or descending.
Is there a way to enable users to sort search result listings like this with GDV2?

Okay, I have approx. 1700 listings in my database and it would take me a loooong time enable comments in every single listing, one by one.Will it be possible to export all listings, enable comments via WP – Settings – Discussion and then re-import all listings back?
Would that generally enable comments for all listings?

I would like to get back to my questions regarding the “Write a review”-Button.Guust has given me a code to copy in a text widget and which I then display in the sidebar of the GD detail page.
However, this button is merely a link to the already existing reviews of the listing.
I am looking for the form with which users can write a review for a particular listing.How do I do that?

from the WP dashboard I had not been not able to delete the themes SD and DS v1. On the ftp-server I now deleted the backup folders in wp-content/plugins and -themes which helped.
So now there are no more themes in v1 existent.Still – the GD map on GD search page does not show properly:
As a widget in the side bar it is not displayed at all (see screenshots “GD map widget settings2” and “GD search page without map”.
As a shortcut in the block editor the GD map is visible and – hurray – does load listings . But I really want to have the map widget as a sticky one on the side bar of the GD search page. How do I achieve this?

This reply has been marked as private.Hm … I know I am giving you a hard time and thank you very much for your patience, but believe me, I am also having a hard time with all the changes that come with GDV2.
My problem is, with this block editor (see attachment) I just do not see how to address the side bar of a page.
So how can I place a widget in the side bar with the block editor?Hm .. there is a text widget called something like “add any multilingual text”, but with this widget I have not chance to select the pages where the widget shall be displaid.
So this text-widget will be shown on the side bar of any page – which I do not want.Which text-widget do you mean must I use, to have it only displaid on GD Detail side bar?

I have double-checked everything.
The widget GD Map is displayed on the sidebar of the GD Detail page, but not on the sidebar of the GD search page – although it is the very same widget and the two pages have the same template (standard).1) Why is the GD Map widget on the side bar not displaid on the GD search page but on the GD Details page?

birgitI got it – until now I haven’t switched from Classic Editor to Block Editor. Now it works.

I do have SD and DS V2 (see screenshots). And I have tried every possible template on the search page, including the GD Archive template.
Even when I choose to show the map widget on all GD pages, the map widget is not displayed at all – no matter what map type I choose in the widget or what template the page is and no matter whether I place the widget in the GD top section or GD sidebar.What else can be the problem?
BirgitHm … there used to be that widget GD Map Homepage which – in the top section of the surpreme theme front page came along with full width. So you do not have that any more?
Could you still also have a look why the map does not load my listings? As I said, I have refreshed the google API Key and it didn’t help.
