    Hello,
in the documentation it says, that the front page must not be a GD page.
So I created a normal page and made it my front page – check.

With GDV1 on my front page there was that full width GD map and some CPT listings.

When I now try to install GD widgets (like map or listings), and decided to show them on selected pages, I only can select GD pages.
However, my front page is not (must not be) a GD page.

So how do I get the GD Map and other GD widgets on my front page?

    Many thanks for your support
    Birgit

You can use the shortcode builder or blocks: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/

    Thanks

    Ok, thank you.
I have inserted the shortcode for the GD Map in my Frontpage, exactly as you have it in your documentation (see below).

However, – see attached image, …

    1) the map is not full width (even though the shortcode says width should be 100%). How can I have the map in full width?

    2) Not a single listing is loaded, neither on the map nor in the archive. I have updated the Google API Key, even the property confirmation on the google console, but the site still doesn’t load any of the listings.
… any idea? What else could be the reason for this?

    Short Code Map:
    [gd_map width=”100%” height=”425px” maptype=”ROADMAP” zoom=”0″ map_type=”auto” post_settings=”1″]
    [gd_categories title=”Popular Categories” title_tag=”h3″ post_type=”0″ hide_empty=”1″ sort_by=”az” max_level=”1″ max_count=”all” max_count_child=”0″]
    [gd_listings title=”Featured Places” post_type=”gd_place” sort_by=”az” title_tag=”h3″ layout=”gridview_onefifth” post_limit=”5″ show_featured_only=”1″]
    [gd_listings title=”Popular Places” post_type=”gd_place” sort_by=”az” title_tag=”h3″ layout=”gridview_onefifth” post_limit=”15″]

    Hello,

please send over the URL so we can see the error there.

The total width of the map depends on the page template, as the map can only expand to the edge of the container in which it is lcoated.

    Oh! You are using Supreme.

Supreme doesn’t show the GD Top Bar in the same places as Directory Starter.

The actual page for the Supreme full width page does have margins.

Hm … there used to be that widget GD Map Homepage which – in the top section of the surpreme theme front page came along with full width. So you do not have that any more?

Could you still also have a look why the map does not load my listings? As I said, I have refreshed the google API Key and it didn’t help.

    Thank you very much

    Might it be a timeout?
I cannot load most pages on your site. What is your host saying about the performance issues? I am not even getting an error on the page.

Ah, one loaded. There is an invalid style error for the custom map. Try changing that. That is on the post map.
