    Done.

Any thoughts on why /location is not working? I would like to work on it on the weekend if possible.

Sorry, as I said, I had deleted the plugin and reinstalled it because of the weird issues on the navigation page. AjijicToday.com is the right site. I’m looking at it and just got a notice that you had logged in.

Do you think the theme issues are why I can’t get the directory up? I put a custom link on the main menu – http://www.ajijic.com/location but it does nothing.

I wasn’t sure whether to start a new topic on this but thought this might be related. I can’t seem to get the GeoDirectory page to come up using the URL for my site, AjijicToday.com and /location. Something appears to be wrong with the installation and I don’t know how to correct it. I have asked my theme developer for a JSON code to see that the plugin is compatible but they have no clue what I am talking about. I’ve attached a screenshot of the GeoDirectory page.

    Appreciate your help.

Not sure what happened to my previous post. Anyway, I figured it out, apparently. It appears that there was a conflict with the previous #sidebar CSS so I deleted it all because I’m not really using it with the new layout (no sidebars). The directory page is now fine.

Thanks for your help. Appreciate it.

Not sure if the “div” was to be part of the CSS. I didn’t include it and just added the rest of the code in the custom CSS, with the color changes, but it didn’t do anything. Everything is still white.

Everybody hates to admit that they are stupid in public. I am no different but I have spent the entire day trying to figure out why some of the information on the listing is white and other information is orange. I have inspected the page and tried every single thing I could find. No luck. Just please send me in the right direction so I will not bother you again. I promise.

I added a text widget in every place I could think of including the ones you suggested. It saves fine but after viewing the page there’s nothing there and when i come back to the text widget all the code has been stripped.

Ideally I would like to be able to have the translate button appear on the page like it is here – http://www.atuntaquitoday.info/ if it would possible translate everything in the directory. Failing that I would like to be able to have it on the page with the detail on the listings because that has the most content.

Guess I’ll go ahead with the four month plan for now then.

    Thanks.

Avada uses what they call Fusion Builder which is basically a WYSIWYG editor but they also have a default editor which shows you the code. I just added the code to the page. The “places” page is basically a results type page and I don’t see anywhere to edit the code. Because all the directories are in Ecuador I would like the pages to show in Spanish as well.

On another point I have been trying to figure out what we can afford to invest in with the plugin. Found at least twenty sites offering codes for 50-75% off but none of the codes work. Other sites just link to yours with no codes showing. Very confusing. We were going to go with the four month plan for $60 but we would like to have something longer. Just can’t go the $150 route right now.

I’ve been using Google Translate on all my sites and it does a good job of translating everything but graphics, of course. With the Avada theme I just add the code for the translate button to the pages. I was just wondering how I would add this same code or the GTranslate code to the “places” page?

Strangely I setup a test location and was going to show them where the city was cut off but I could move the pin anywhere in Ibarra now, mysteriously. Go figure.

Google has come back asking for a contact to work with you on the issue. If you can give me an email address I will forward their latest reply to you.
