    But nevermind,

I did a quick test on a different domain and guess I will fix it with a fresh install of the theme.

    Thanks

    No problem,

    thank you for your help.

That´s what I thought. …weird. had it from the beginning, without customizations.

    Looking forward.

    happy new year

    Crazy,

I set the default radius to 1km –> “near me”-page

Now I set the default radius to 0km –> wien (vienna)-page

    is that right? crazy.

    Thanks!

    one case solved. great.

I just set the default radius to 1km. but still “near me” instead of vienna.

    crazy.

    I ll search my database.

so if I would have a city as radius point and there is a small town near be, it could lead to difficulties. right?

    I have to check

    definitely not,

I translated every “near me” “near” and “me” in GD plugin, Supreme, starter aaaand search ADD on.

    sorry.

    again:
well, I just checked your demo.

First I see: Find local treasures
    Next step: geolocation
last step: I see Haarlem (I am in Vienna/Austria)

So why I only see “NEAR ME”???? What is wrong?????

    thanks

ok, let`s leave it that way. I have to hire a programmer.

But how can I translate “NEAR ME” on the NEAR ME page???

well, I just checked your demo.

First I see: Find local treasures
    Next step: geolocation
last step: I see Haarlem (I am in Vienna/Austria)

So why I only see “NEAR ME”???? What is wrong?????

I guess I am missing the point of the differences.

But what i really want to know:

under Advanced search > redirect settings… > I see this point:
Redirect to nearest location (on first time load users will be auto geolocated and redirected to nearest geolocation found)

I would expect to be geolocated and then redirected to the city/region page. with the according categories. like it is if I select a city on the location switcher.
if I am in berlin, i will be geolocated, redirected to the berlin page and would see only the categories that exists in berlin.
But no, I only see the “Near me” page. (is this supposed to be right? because it doesn`t make sense)

which brings me to my question of my first post If it had to be the “Near me” page:
How can I change “Near me”?

    <blockquote>I can`t change the <h1 entry title> from „NEAR ME“.
I searched & translated the Supreme, Directory-Starter, Geodirectory plugin and adv.search plugin for it.
    where can I find it?

    A question about the location-switcher:

Is there a way to link the “everywhere-link” to the usual startpage and not to the “location”-page?

or is it possible to fit a “everywhere-link-checkbox” into the near-me-compass table?
could make sense, because the location-switcher seems to be double done with the supreme-theme and could be confusing for user. which one to use? location-switcher or location field?

    Thank you very much.

The user vs. claim listing works.

    well, to #3:

I guess it would make sense to put it under the Entry title of the Detail-Page.
the country, region, city thing is relativly useless.
first would be nice, the address, than telefonnumbers, than website and under that “getdirections”. i guess that would make sense. if you browse such a webpage on a cell phone.

    I updated the theme.
But the redirection to the nearest location doesn`t work. If I tick the “near me” checkbox it is supposed to switch to the city (for example: berlin) I stay, right?

Hmm, the category-buttons on the startpage are still misaligned in the vertical direction. You don

t have an idea, too? right? On a tablet or cellphone it

    s aligned perfectly.
    I guess it

s because the category title has two lines, but I can

t find margins or paddings that would push these buttons upwards.

    best
