Success with the clarity. (without knowing what to do with the (gd/Themes Compatability/Avada) but still curious.
Ok, will pay close attention. And as for the page GD/ThemevCompatability/Avada/export is theme compatability page to be ignored? can’t find any docs on subject.
Hi Martinwi,
Is it possible to share more about what you did? I’m at that stage right now and was going to use some 3rd party display code similar to shopify and your example except to create a buttons with the code for each listing type using yourdomain/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place&package_id=1 action linkthanks if you can spare the time to share.
Though we did Core first and alone, We might have taken the “Deactivate all GeoDirectory dependent add-ons first before deactivating GeoDirectory” the wrong way… since we know that plugins are deactivated just prior to updates, might have left add-ons deactivated during update of core, then deactivated during update of add-ons.
Last update wiped out many settings (that were not custom);
maps to show on home page, multi city everywhere option, and more. while we’ve been “finding” and “fixing” as we come across them, is this expected behavior or odd. is there a change alert that would let us know in advance to make immediate corrections?I recall that in setup, one of the things we should do is change media option to year month.
Is there a better way to manage a huge amount of images, perhaps using a plugin to create a new folder for each Place listing? It’s still in beta and already strange to sort through listing Place photos mixed in with site icons and graphics… when there are 5-10K users, finding my icons and site folders will be a nightmare.
Image management is a very important item for management and storage fees.
Need clarification. Please clarify second paragraph.
we just went through a useability panel on the site. New listings went as planned with proper minimal upsell during listing process, however we find it mandatory to create a new listing menu “page” that does a better job display of options and feature check marks for each package, then after explanation, link to actual add new listing page (using shortcode i hope). While a default price package works well for new, it breaks on the preloaded sites from CSV upload.
So are you saying that when a site is preloaded, regardless of the value put into the field for price tier, they will have free reign of the system for all time?
Has this been updated or on the schedule yet? I’ve got Places that need 3-4 youtube or vimeo videos and of course setting the number of videos per site payment option is/as a selling feature for listings.

Cache cleared, ccleaner, and yes, as noted in 34438, front end is showing icons correctly… while the back end does not. Full details and images new post 34438. Can you identify which plugin module has the fix for icons?
Not resolved. Have opened a new topic #34438 with images, symptom and attempted fix.
Could not find new update with the above description in change log.
Possible to Identify which plugin needs to be uninstalled/reinstalled?
Applied the patches for missing icons last week and it fixed the issue until today, when added another category and icon and its back again. Oddly this is not the first category and icon added, since, but the first to show error.
FYI, I have not applied today’s updates: I did not see mention of missing icon (and icon text in lieu of) change logs for today’s updates.
Please advise.
